Saddest SNES Music: #12 - Sorrow of Parting - Final Fantasy 5

I wasn't a huge fan of this song while playing, but it has definitely grown on me. Obviously used during sad parts in the game.

I have never played a Final Fantasy game in my entire life, however, I remember brief flashes of things that seem familiar. I remember a final fantasy box sitting on top of my TV. I remember seeing my brother play one of the earlier Final fantasy games (prior to six, but I don't know which one). And this song...this hauntingly familiar song, that I've had stuck in my head numerous times without knowing why.

The art in this pic resembles the characters pretty well.

I love how the official artwork for the game look nothing like the characters are supposed to. Lenna doesn't have short hair, Farris doesn't wear a ponytail or a bowtie, Galuf has a beard, not just a mustache.
