This fucking looks and sounds fantastic compared to ANY other versions I've seen ever! There's even a close up camara shot of Elvis that isn't in other versions.

About the only coke Elvis was doing at this point was the cola kind. He's a fucking genius and this is perhaps the single most exciting musical performance ever captured on TV.

@ikilledawhale so agree it don't get better than this pure groundbreaking 'teenager' music displayed for the first time on TV in such a shocking sexual way, tame now but in 1956 this caused havoc.
