This kid was the perfect actor for this role. He's brilliant and Steven Speilberg's genius is perfectly displayed in this masterpiece movie. Bravo!

maybe is not the best ending but it sure makes me cry every time, so i guess thats how it suppose to be!

@themenaceanish I disagree with you sir you have not made one point and this to me is not boring nor bad but intriguing and a masterpiece. Don't watch this movie with thinking for it to be realistic this is as much of a fairy tail as Pinocchio. Thank you for being completely honest it fuels more anger to get through the day

I think it's pretty hard to get a seventeen year old male to cry, but Steven Spielberg had me crying like a baby in this last scene (worse in fact in the scene before where Haley himself is crying because he can't get his mommy back). Brilliant actor in this movie and The Sixth Sense. It's almost a shame he grew up. He was sooo cute back then.

I thought it was beautiful. Movies are art, after all. This is the definition of motion picture art.
