The simple beauty and reverence of this ceremony are very moving. The one that lies there is only know to the Most High and I am sure is now resting in His Embrace. While we do not know him we will never forget him and all the others who protect us and our country on a daily basis. Thanks to every woman an man who serves in the armed forces of the USA.

@awkwardproductions1 what an awkward question. You really should be ashamed of yourself as an American for asking it. Your parents and or teachers did a horrible job educating you. Do you even understand what the Tomb of the Unknowns is? How about what Memorial Day and Veterans Day are? you obviously don't understand...
Ive actually had the chance to witness this Ceremony, but i noticed, the Honor guard who changed the guards out, didnt do the rifle inspection when he first walked up to the new guard. He went straight to checking his uniform. Is that the case? or did you edit that part out somehow? good video btw!

Unknown, yet not forgotten. This nameless soldier symbolizes all who have given their lives in sacrifice to achieve and preserve the freedoms we enjoy daily. As we prepare for Memorial Day, let us all remember those lost. To the soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines who have died in service no thanks is enough, but I humbly and respectfully do thank you. May those you left behind gain some measure of solace from the homage we do to you.

@awkwardproductions1 It is about honor and respect for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Freedom isn't free, in fact it is priceless. A solemn ceremony, carried out 24/7/365 to assure that we remember and honor those who fell in battle, but whose remains cannot be identified. With the advent of DNA testing, this is truly a thing of the past, but the idea never goes out of style. It is a little thing we do to honor and remember the biggest thing a man or woman can do for their country.
