The first portion of this video was shot at 1145 hours CDT at E Broadway and the UP Main, south of Tower 55. UP 4739 leads a two car track test train northbound. At 1411 hours, Engine 3 leads Amtrak 821 "Heartland Flyer" southbound through the Saginaw Interlocker. After taking photos of UP 8327 and UP 9610 on a southbound manifest on the UP Duncan Sub in Saginaw, I spotted her going under the Terminal Island bridge, and decided to catch her at what a lot of us call Tower 60 (or Decatur Ave). She took the Duncan to the BNSF Fort Worth transfer, where I caught up with 8327 and 9610 at 1508 hours and took a short digital video of her. After the main engines passed the crossing, I left my observation location and headed for the Cold Springs Rd crossing of the same transfer tracks, where I caught up with the engines again at 1513 hours.
