I suppose you're going to say Jimi Hendrix didn't play "All along the Watchtower" "right" just because he didn't use Bob Dylan's original arrangement. That's pretty ridiculous.

i played this plus the isolated vocal track of the actual gimme shelter stones track, had to mess around with the allignment cause obviously the two artists are different but the end result was EPIC!!! GJ keep it up

This song is about passion and attitude, so I'd say, go ahead and sing it like you mean it...the people who don't like it can just listen to something else, and the people who want to give you crap can kiss your ass.

Not really. The original was played in an open tuning (possibly open G), but you can just play C#, B, A.
