This is a description of me changing the Driver-side tail light on a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser.
Things you will need: Flat-head Screwdriver, Replacement light (about $40-$60), Time, a good roommate.

Special thanks to Reuben for operating the camera :-)

  • Hey mate, lucky you wasn't a celica. Almost 4 minutes to change this one, the celica you would take whole day. Great job tho.

  • I'd love to have a ZR; but alas, they don't offer them in the USA.

  • Thank you so much for this video! I need the RR tail light replaced and I think I can do it myself and save 100 bucks!

  • a lot more simple that changing them in my car..they are litterally held in by the seals, then about 6 or 7 bolts on each tail light from the inside of the trunk, which you have to take off the carpeting padding before you get to those bolts, and that's held in by clips over the bolts.
