New age music, Wil Ackerman was a poineer of this genre of music and was the founder of the Windham Hill label. This recording has been a part of me for over 20 years and I think when you hear this it will be a part of you too.

  • great - t'was a pleasure to listen. :)

  • I heard Darol Anger when I was in college, more than twenty years ago, I was listening to Jean-Luc Ponty as well, but his sound was so soulful and spirit uplifting. It made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. He reminded me very much of the first time I listened to Pat Metheny...euphoric.

  • @pluggedin2u WOW. knocked me off my feet... 1st time hearing this JEWEL... music like this touches areas within that not all music can.... its something you feel & cant put into just one word. An abundance of G8 getaway feelings @rareviolintreasures... U ROCK! THANK YOU! Port

  • This duet with Will Ackerman and Darol Anger is my favorite. Words cannot describe the exquisite beauty of this piece. Darol Anger's lead voicings takes you on a wonderful trip gentle and sweet on emoment then then racing and soaring above the clouds. This borders on the sublime. I love it.

  • Those were some days... I guess all of Darol's musical journey has been beautiful, deep, varied, exciting... I wanna read a book about his journey. I wish he or his wife, the novelist Willa R, would take this on. Thank you for this beautiful soundtrack and the photos of my hero.
