  • That's a damn smart turtle. It dragged it into deeper water to drown it first.

I'm definitely not the one to go crazy about a mouse, but is there a reason you put the mouse in there alive? Do the turtles prefer live prey, or something? Some animals eat only live prey.

  • @todiwan2 i attempted to feed one of my ball pythons a live mouse and he did not take it, so i was curious to see if the turtles would eat it. and they did

  • @JADEAV these mice are labeled at the store "feeder mice".

  • can i feed red sliders mice? i tend to feed it goldfish, but i hear they're fatty.

and i have no idea, but this live feeding seems much more humane...

  • @carrrollee my red eared sliders eat small mice, live or dead

  • i know it's nature and shit but one thing thats annoys me is why the animal being fed makes the mouse suffer...that thing coulld've killed the mouse in one snap but instead its makes it suffer..one thing i hate is seeing animaks strugle for their life, i aint complain at you for this i'm just statin my veiws.

  • are they your pets, or ais it a sanctuary?

  • I felt sorry for the poor mouse but, then again, it's not like you can feed them pellets, kelp, or dead animals since they're not plant-eaters or scavengers.

  • I've always thought that feeding live animals to predators was unnecessarily cruel. You could have just as easily killed the mouse first and then it wouldn't have suffered. This is ridiculous and extraordinarily selfish.

  • do these two ever fight? cause im thinking about getting a second baby snapper while my current one is still a baby, cause i know if it grows it will think it owns the tank and bite anything that comes into it

  • as i always say....these videos, in my opinion, is a just reminder to the cruel reality of nature we human's don't see daily...but I'm pretty sure, somewhere in the wild, a mouse is getting ripped apart by an alligator snapper

  • That was pretty cool. I never knew turtles had tails before.

  • the mouse's ass is bleeding!

  • That screaming face is very symbolic of how the mouse is feeling.

  • Nope iCant Do it...iGot GoldFish and let him eat that

  • The sound of the water makes me want to take a piss.
