Metal Gear Solid 2, played in 576p using the Blaze Xploder component cable and disc. Works like a charm on an HD-TV! Video quality is really improved!

  • damn that looks sweet

    how does it work?

do you put the Xploder then the game?

will this work if i chip my ps2 and play burned games

  • The Xploder kit consists of a component cable and an Xploder disc.

Insert the disc into your PS2 and run it. Then select the video mode you want (576p, 720p, 1080i etc.). Eject the Xploder CD and inster the game disc and press start. That's all there is to it, so i guess it'll work on a chipped PS2 as well.

  • @InsertNight all resolutions above 480p are

  • Sorry, but 576p isn't hd :3

  • how big is that tv? 42 inches?

  • looks good in 576p!

  • @TheDarkDenis

576p and 480p are generally considered part of a standard called 'EDTV' (Enhanced Definition) although the term was never really used in marketing (And if you live in Australia 480/576p televisions were branded as HD)

  • hi, will all the games play in wide screen on a 24" lcd tv using a component or i'll get those black stripes on the sides of the image??

  • hd officialy starts at 720p on hdtvs and at 480p at sdtvs

that means that in your tv is not hd but sd,

but I think that this is a very good display for this game, great job!

  • Does it also with PS1 games and on PS3?

  • @Nailgun80
