MW-DX: WFED 1500 Washington, DC in Geeste, Germany - 6.319km (27.01.2010) FERRIT ANT. - INDOOR !!!

This is another demonstration video, that TA on mediumwave from the US towards Germany is actually possible using the radio indoor simply with its ferrit antenna.
That was nice luck that I could make that video, because I had to leave to work some moments later. This morning brought excellent conditions towards North America along. Local sunrise was 08:23 CET.

That's a nice catch for an indoor antenna! WFED is directional, sending most of their 50kw signal eastward.

I've never heard anything from Germany on MW here, but the old 1314 Norway was a regular catch with even a modest antenna, as is 1521 Saudi Arabia & 1206 France here in NY State in the early evening hours during the winter months.
