IDF's Campaign to Prevent Abductions

The IDF is launching a new campaign, aimed at preventing the abduction of soldiers. Most abductions are carried out while soldiers are hitchhiking. It's not a war. And Israel pretty much created Hamas for just saying "Alright, we give you total freedom here. Do whatever you like", which caused terrorist organization take over it and not civilians.

Would it be a war, Israel would take full control over Gaza and stop this.

There is still the conflict between hamas and Israel, and it's not really peace right now. They shoot rockets, Israel responds with airstrike.... so it is a conflict.

I said capturing AND torturing. Only capturing is quite different from capturing and torturing. As if your aim is to torture someone, you would harm him at the process of capturing. If your aim is only to catch someone, you try to cause as less harm as possible.

The situation you presented has nothing to do with this video. There is no war going on at the moment too. I also feel more into it as I met those soldiers, and everyone at the age 18+ joins the IDF so that's something to keep in mind.

"You don't see Israel capturing terrorists and torturing them."- Well, they do capture terrorists, whether they torture them to get info or not is unclear, because we just don't know what goes on behind closed doors.

My point is that when these fighters attack military targets(soldiers, bases etc) when in conflict that is NOT terrorism, that is combatant vs combatant. If, however, these fighters attack civilians or exploit their own, then you can freely call them terrorists.

Human's life are human's life. You don't see Israel capturing terrorists and torturing them. Furthermore, those terrorists are visited by their families.

Life is not simple. So saying that "War is war, as long as it's soldier it's not that bad" is just an empty opinion.

palstenian civilians are not captured only terrorists which launch rockets at civilians are. these trrorists which are hiding inside houses and use children as human sheild could have been killed but the IDF is too nice i guess.
