Dandelions is a song I've always wanted to do, but I've had a hard time figuring out an acceptable guitar part for the whole song. It's a work in progress, I suppose.

I would agree that many of their songs are more light-hearted and funny in nature, but I don't think that takes away from the depth of their lyrics. FIF didn't use their songs as a vehicle for talking about theology or straight up worship as often as the Supertones, but that hardly makes them pansies.

Relative to Supertones. Not relative to a majority of other bands out there.

Not to say there aren't some exceptions, some incredibly powerful and thought provoking songs they've put out over the years. also not to say they're not incredible musically either. but just comparatively, well there's hardly any comparing to be done. the light hearted nature Does take away from the depth in most of the songs, strictly speaking.

The Supertones are arguably the best Christian ska band ever. FIF makes a strong claim for that title too. At any rate, I didn't have 'tones shirt to wear, so I figured I'd represent the two best Christian ska bands at the same time.
