FYI=The devine Miss Wiggins was Canadian but among other things, had theatre experience and training from England. And could she steal a scene!

Quite a few leading ladies from the soaps back in the 60's and 70's had a unique speaking style. People like Ruth Warrick, (Phoebe, AMC) Lois Kibbee, (Geraldine, EON) ,and a few other ladies had that style. Even some men had a speaking unique style. A lot of those actors from back then had training though theatre. That's something you don't see on soaps anymore. The person I could think of in recent past is Ben Masters, (Julian, Passions)

Lord I love that ending theme and title with those flowers. Wasn't a huge fan of LOL but was for some of the other CBS shows, but I can assure the TV was on this station and this ending always made me feel safe and that everything was right with the world somehow. Such wonderful memories...

Boy do I feel old watching these but I am loving it anyway. Just think Jennifer Aniston was a baby when her dad was on this. Now shes about 42. Oh time does fly. Also loving the old commercials.

Did you ever watch her on the Canadian version of Dark Shadows? It was called Strange Paradise. She was great in it. If you want to watch it all 194 episodes are up here on YouTube.

You are so correct--and Joan Copeland ("Love Of Life," "Search For Tomorrow"), too.
