I found a place to stay costly there but the rest of the city a bargain. You can really just walk and finding cheap food is no problem. I liked it.

@HostelBookers yes i do, but it's not the nicest city in the netherlands. and since the netherlands is so small you should not stay in amsterdam your whole visit.
