What if a person from the Detroit Creative Community wrote the ad for the Chrysler - Eminem - Super Bowl Spot.
While I found the commercial to be impressive, I thought it could have used a different spin on Detroit. It would have been better if it had it was a united effort from the big 3 with more of a focus on Detroit's efforts in embracing & promoting the Creative Community. Kid Rock could have represented Ford and Bob Seger GM.
I had been thinking for a number of years that a Super Bowl ad for Detroit would be a good thing. I wrote most of the voice-over script in about an hour while I was watching a TV show and tweaked it a bit the next day with the last bit added as I was doing the voice-over.
The background music if from a band with a name connected to the auto industry: Galaxie 500,
the song title: Summertime
By the way, I could use a creative job if anyone is impressed by this.
