  • That species is one of many relatives of the "Flathead" family commonly found in Australian and Indonesian waters. In Australia alone there's over 50 different species of them....

  • In the Paul Humann South Pacific fish ID book, they list it's common name as Crocodile Flathead and its scientific name as Cymbacephalus beauforti. Just reasearching it after taking a few pictures of one off the coast Pemba island, Tanzania.

  • You must look up dusky flathead on wiki. Croc fish is just slang hehe.
