Panasonic Lumix GH2 is a better video camera. Canon 7D is a better photo camera and tougher in body.
I WILL BUY THE GH2!

Thanks man. Am all set to get one now! Your video shows another plus point of buying this over a canon for video (Except a 5DMk2 I guess) and has been a great help. Keep it up! =)

dont forget the ETC function on the GH2. great secret addition that people forget about, makes a diff on large lenses like the 140mm

@Deanzsyclone the 7d sensor is much bigger than the gh2 and the g5mkii is bigger even, but saying this the 7d should have raped the gh2 in low light but it didnt :( baww bawwwww
Yawn! I really can't stand it when i put in the effort to help people who are genuinely interested and then people comment like i have an agenda to mislead them. It is a 7d you arrogant prick and it is in focus. It looks like crap cause it was shot in very low light. I was shooting in 24p at 50 shutter speed, 3200 ISO, and 1.8. This blown up footage of 1080p so you would see native resolution on YouTube. Format? What in gods name are you talking about? I brought it into FCP transfixed to ProR

what is the best in your opinion, only video part, sharpness and color?

@i1v1o Panasonic shows better detail resolve, more accurate color, better noise control. It has a better built in stereo mic. It has audio levels for external sound inputs. It is the better video machine. It's a fidley little thing in your hands as it is small and no where near as robust as the Canons. But if you sling it in a rig, who cares? Canon will be back to match or beat it soon but by then I (hopefully) will be pulling RED Scarlets out of my holster.

This is my first "ever" online test. Let me know if there are other tests you would like between these two cams. I hope this helps someone.
