The co-operative film about Fairtrade bananas

This year marks the 10th aniversary of The Co-operative's Fairtrade strategy which set out to "mainstream" what was considered by many to be a niche sector. This film focuses on the longest established retailer/Fairtrade producer partnership. Volta River Estates Ltd.(VREL) in Ghana supplied the very first Fairtrade banaanas into the UK thorugh our stores in the year 2000 and our commitment epitomises what Fairtrade is all about.
