I love animals, and I agree that you SHOULD wear your late mother's coat out of love for her memory and pride for your father's sacrifice which he no doubt made out of love for her. The animals that live today should be safe, and the animals that have already died (decades ago!) should not have died for nothing. It's a beautiful coat and a beautiful story.
