I've lived in China and studied there. I can guarantee you that CCTV does't share the whole view either. I met with a student at Renmin DaXue (People's University - a top uni) in Beijing and I asked her to tell me what she thought of her government system. She said she couldn't talk about it because she would get in trouble.
