Anyone know if any recent updates may undo this? I'm planning on buying either a 60gb or 120gb used hard drive from gamestop and I just wanna make sure it will work as I've read a couple of people have gotten errors. Something about the newer slims have better protection or something.

Good video but my old hard drive I installed it and it works but it seems too loose is there any chance of damage done to my slim cause of that? I move my Xbox often so I'm wondering if this is any good.

@hahaguyproductions no, i have one and it just shows up as transfer data. It cannot be used a storage devise with a transfer cable

@halolvl43legit you can't save it to the slim, in order to transfer saved data from hard drive to hard drive you need to use a USB drive. You can always recover your gamer tag to the new hard drive but it takes a while
