  • You're in good shape for a quad. Sad to say I'm not. I'm a c5-c6 but I have excellent strength in my biceps. I use wrists weights a lot. I'm up to 10lbs. Besides a lot of different arm exercises, I do sit-ups and ab twists.I lay my chair flat and throw pull myself forward to work my abs. I'm trying my best to get in shape and get stronger. You're very inspiring to others like me.

  • @jlsmith200 So you are an incomplete quad? Just keep at the exercise!

  • do you use dumbbells? i started exercising again on free weights in july on 2kg's after a forearm fracture put me out for 2 years. im on 6's now and aiming for 8kg by christmas. im c5/6-2003 on protein powder and creatine.

  • @jmccaf yes i do. the kind that go around the hand. (quad friendly) I would use resistance bands as well. the weights may hurt your tendons. are you complete injury? any recovery? whats your exercise program like?

  • Thanks for posting these. They're going to really help me I can already tell.

  • @mikesjunk00 glad to hear that. let me know if theres anything i can assist in.

  • Hey matt you have a better body than most able bodied people and you look very symetrical for someone in a wheelchair usualy they are slumped to one side! I'm a big fan of yours been watching you vids on and off for months now, keep positive bro!

  • @Pyromaniac4889 Oh yea I do and yea I'm incomplete quad

  • @Pyromaniac4889 im on 8kg neoprone dumbells now, using active hand grips to hold them from (w.activehands co uk). i do 3 sets on 8 reps of kick backs, hammer curls, bicep curls, side bicep curls, forward raises, side raises and shoulder press. for about n hour, 3 times a week then boxing on pads for an hour. w.youtube.com/watch?v=sThcDpCbcZE - this was a while ago.

  • You probably could've sold this lol xx

  • Thanks for sharing. My 23 nephew broke his 6-7 he just took some new technology pills two hours after he could write, hold poker chips and cards. He feels stronger in his abs and now can control his bowl movement. FYI there is a new hope!!! Hit me up if you want to learn more.

  • @Pyromaniac4889 yeh complete, balance and strength are better but ive had a few health problems along the way - tumour, fracture and pneumonia. i used to be pretty reckless. 'active hands' are good grips for dumbbells.

i do 3 sets of kickbacks, bicep curls, hammer curls, side bicep curls, shoulder press (with assisance), forward and side raises. 3 times a week. i go swimming in the summer, too cold now
