These are the prettiest birds! A real flashy bird to see in the springtime! This flock stayed around for as long as the crab apple tree fruits were available. The berries had fermented so the birds get a little loopy and fearless. I only saw them in the spring and then they are gone. The feathers are almost furry looking. These are Bohemian Waxwings. You can clearly see the splash of red on the wings. I filmed this in March at Fairbanks Alaska
I found one of these it was a baby with a broken wing i could not grt it well it died.

Simply a great video of such adorable creatures! First came upon a small band this fall at Lake Patoka in Southern Indiana. I had great fun photographing and playing with them. Their boldness, curiosity and playfulness are unmatched. Thanks for sharing!

Breathtaking. Absolutely beautiful video. These birds visit us in swarms when the cedars produce good crops of berries.
