  • God, funniest and worst episode at the same time.

  • This was my favorite episode. I have been to that hot dog stand and that was the best hot dog I have ever had!

  • As an Icelander... i am truly disappointed in this show, this is not how i depict my country!

  • For those joking that the best food Iceland has to offer is nothing but a hot dog, you cannot compare them to a crappy American hotdog.

These hotdogs are made from lamb meat; the buns are not the sugary fluff like in America; the catsup and mustard are totally different and the one item that makes them is the Remulaði sauce.

I'm vacationing in Iceland in a week (2nd time this year). As soon as I leave the airport, I'm hitting an N1 just to get my fix.

  • Iceland = funnest place on Earth. Damn Bourdain, you blew it on this episode.

  • @dankohner1 Soooooo true. Got the picture of Bill Clinton there. Ate there like 10 times in one weekend - from midnight to 7 in the morning that stand is packed. The nightlife scenes should have been half the show.

  • i don´t think antony is comming back there eveeeeeeeeeeeeeeer.

  • @rhetorictree That sounds really really wrong.. But try everything once as they say. :)

  • @SethHesio A friend of mine described is as "gone off" brie with heavy layer of rotten fish over that. Sound appetizing? Ha! But I tried it anyway. It went down fast, I'll tell you that much. Swallowed it whole, which is the wussy way to do it. Then the shot of Brennivin. Ouch. Almost as hard to swallow.

  • Tony should revisit Iceland during a better season and have 'normal' food to do better justice to the place.

  • the shark smells and tastes like ammonia, and it BURNS going down your throat! LOL he should have went to the Loki bar and ate herring in mustard sauce--oo la la it was so yummy!!
