I have the sony camera, the head tilting is nice except it only records in 30min clips which is annoying

that's how most motorcycle vloggers have their Vado HD mounted, using velcro. I intend on buying the 2nd gen, even if the 3rd gen is already out. I don't think the makers at Creative know what they are doing, putting out an inferior product from the previous version. Wow, you paid $250 for yours. I found some on eBay for around $60 brand new. But, I guess its a couple of years old, plus the 3rd gen is out now.

quick question, whats the memory like on your camera? since you say you have it recording all the time I suppose you'd need 16GB to keep it running?

Nice bike. That is what I want when I get another bike. I just got my first, got it real cheap from a guy I work with. Its a 1990 Kawasaki 454LTD. Old but gets me back and forth to work.

... but I think Image Stabilization is a must tho, imho. Hopefully that feature gets added soon to the Vado & a swivel lens - think webby - wouldn't hurt either ;-)
I just hope that in-helmet cams don't get outlawed here like they are in the UK... that would totally suck ballz! The cams keep getting smaller, better & cheaper all the time... yayyy!!!
Keep up the vloggin bud & take the cam along for the ride in the cruiser scene, we don't seem to get that too much in MCvloggerdom :-(

I find it does make a difference tho, even on SD cams. The vids look less blurred or jittery due to vibration or bumps. I remember 88Hawaii/Spencerian did lots of research (he's a DP buff) b4 picking the kodak v570/705 for his vlogging a couple years ago. It's was/is gr8 for motovlogging for a # of reasons, image stabilization being just 1 of them. It went on to be a popular choice for vloggers because of his vids. I expect the pocket HDcams to become the most popular with motovloggers...
Thanks very much for the informative video. The HD scenery is great. The Vado on my Amazon wish list..

I was so surprised that this little tiny camera can take such great shots!

Obviously u did ur homework b4 choosing the VadoHD. It produces the best vid quality of all the pocket HDs so far, plus I think its the only 1 with a wideangle lens - ur vids actually help to confirm the rave reviews it gets for skeptical motovloggers.
Only thing is it doesn't have image stabilization :-( that's the only problem with ur otherwise gr8 vid quality. Do u have any idea when these pocket HDcams will start coming with stabilization?

You have no idea, I researched these things for a while! I don't really feel it needs image stabilization for what I'm using it for. The picture is pretty stable and I'm moving my head around so much it might look strange. It would be a neat feature on the camera though for hand holding. I'll take some stock shots with it later so you can get some more views from it.

I have the same problem when I attached my video camera to my gas tank on my cruiser. It makes this weird "wave" affect.
