An orphan, she found herself within the sands of Egypt, learning the tricks of the trade, dancing and performing to make money until the family who took her in sold her into slavery in order to feed the rest of the family. Eventually, a Roman by the name of Marius Corvinus Domitius bought her and brought her back to Rome, where her story begins.
