This music is a great example of a society reaching the pinnical of super creative power before its eventual downfall. Bach was able to feed of that Energy and express it in amazing ways.
Great performance. Absolutely Awesome. Actually.
Was there no conductor? Not quite big enough for one? Its amazing how they stay so in synch without a conductor is it not? =p

This is the first performance i have seen of baroque music on modern instruments (and not in the baroque style) in about 2 years now.
Would sound so amazing on period instruments (and the style too)
Its great for what it is though.
Its a brave performance since people are not doing baroque music like this any more, well in sydney anyway.
