@superspryte Thank You for replying to my question, I have asked others the same question and their answers where not as thought out as well as yours. Many are not taking the time or the effort to educate themselves on what is truly what is happening in Japan.

I just heard the U.S. has approved evacuations of U.S. citizens from Japan will you be leaving if you have the chance?

@ibmtech1 I have no intentions of leaving the area. The evacuations are available as a precaution, not a recommendation. They would have been criticized for not approving evacuations due to the local expat fear.
Based on scientific evidence (I read data streams, not the hyped-up news at this point), I have no reason to leave Tokyo, nor will I if the reactors were to go up. Tokyo is simply too far from the disaster.
And on top of it, Tokyo is well-built and far from the coast. It's safe.
