  • Does it matter what version of excel i have? ...'cause i got 2010 office and when i try to read the sheet on r, it says something about format file is not the expected and i dont know why. or is it that i did wrong the table?

it'd be great if you can give me a solution.

PS. great video, exactly what i was looking for

  • Nice one but pace of instructions should be kept low

  • a very bad instructor... you can't even tell what exactly you are pressing on your keyboard. why not just give up...

  • Exactly what i was looking for!!

I am still trying to find something same for C++.

  • thank, this helps me a lot

  • Wow...what can I say....entirely EXCELLENT video!

    Kudos, ahmetrics, Kudos!! : )

  • Nice video, also you can easily load CSV-files in R! First save the XLS-File as a CSV-File and loading it in R is easy then.

  • Hi KGKosmonauten,

to import data from an excel file that works everywhere, save your file in CSV comma separated format when you are in Excel. The read the files in any variable in R using this simple code: anyvar <- read.csv(file.choose())

By entering this command, you can choose your CSV file and the contents goes to anyvar. To access data in anyvar you need to write anyvar$fieldname.
