Wow! Ive never heard this one! Such power and sense of urgency in the last chorus, just like "Brother Can You Spare A Dime' from those early Depression days! Amazing performance! Hey, I think I may have a Jack Payne here in my Yankee record collection too! I will have to post it for you. "When Kentucky bids the World Good Morning". Or do you have it already? I know nothing of this amazing band.. Glad I stumbled on to you! Am appreciating this great band so much more now!~

Love the dramatic intro and I love Payne's wonderful performance. He sure had me listening with my eyes wide open...
What a great recording! Ha Ha Ha.... :-) Thank you.

Fascinating contrast to the ultra-smooth Ambrose version, and Payne's handling of the vocal is interesting too - perhaps the band's experience with broadcasting novelty tunes was responsible for the dramatic treatment?

Wow! I'm at a loss for words. I've loved this song, and here's another terrific arrangement. Thanks so much!
