I love how short the windshields are in a pre '58. I am putting in a 52 windshield cutout in my 62, along with a 54 rear window. I will have vids on my page soon for that.

I always wondered how the Krauts smuggled Hitler out of Germany. Now we know.

aahhh thanks HITLER for makin volswagen bugs sooo poular

So what are they singing about? They happen to be in VW, but I doubt that has anything to do with the song's lyrics.

skimboarding7 have you seen my videos? I like to think it looks pretty damn good cropped. The bug had to be cut in a few places anyway with rust damage and some body damage. Check them out and let me know what you think. Other than the dash and door handles it looks authentic.

No, the lovely Lady is definately NOT Hilde Hildebrand.

Thankx for your information. I looked her op on wikipedia, and read that she appeared in this film. That's why I thought the lady appearing was Hilde.

The pretty lady singing in the beetle is Edith Oss. Hilde Hildebrand is the other lady driving the bigger car that is talking to the gas station attendant who is servicing her car, when the beetle pulls in
