As someone who uses pyromancy, you should *really* go talk to the egg man by Daughter of Chaos and ascend your flame, otherwise you will be locked out of a *lot* of pyromancies for this playthrough. If you do so, your pyromancy will be doing easily 5x the damage. The early levels of ascension are also cheap. You could play co-op to grind souls for the higher levels.
If you think backstabs make you feel awesome, you should try parrying. :)

Good lord, I've never seen anyone cheese the boars that way. Hahahaha
You've already locked yourself out of some miracles for this playthrough, unfortunately (look up Siegmeyer).
By 40 hours? No way. I'm calling closer to 70 hours, sorry to say. :P
