While she is certainly missed at PNB, I am glad to hear that Noelani feels that she has found the right fit for her at Monte Carlo, an amazing company. Maillot must have been might impressed with her when he staged this ballet at PNB - enough to invite her to come to Monte Carlo as a leading dancer w/the company!

@BernardProfitendieu I agree, you can tell when the camera person doesn't know dance. They typically film the upper body which is a mistake...

yeah: i got mine on amazon. it's by the monte carlo ballet, and the dancers there are even more incredible. they literally become the dance.

Give me Kenneth McMillan's choreography ANY DAY! One of my biggest complaints with PNB is that they waste their fine dancers on crass, pseudo-erotic choreography like this that no one except may be another choreographer might find interesting.. No wonder they can't seem to keep any of their dancers around for very long (Queen Patricia being the rare exception).

Absolutely spectacular. Stunning! The PNB is the most amazing company, so underrated and so superior. I especially love Noelani so this was a wonderful video to find!
