Game On is a filmmakers club started by Laura Miro and Alyssa Lobit (that's moi). We invited friends, both pros and complete newbies, to play. Here's how it worked: Each round started off with an email detailing parameters for a short film. If you were in, you showed up on game night for the screening (usually about 6 weeks later), completed movie in hand. Outside of that, it was up to each person to figure it out, though help was offered and utilized whenever necessary in different areas such as editing, music, etc. The point of Game On is to provide a venue for people to put their cameras where their mouths are. Or something. While having fun was the true purpose, some of the films have gone on to play in festivals. That's right.
