  • When ranching is done properley it benefits the environment. Building subdivisions never benefits anything except the developers. In the midwest ranchers and evironmentalist have worked togther to mimic ancient bison grazing with modern cattle and the results have been extremly succesful. There is a balance out there with ranching and coservation, but again very little sucsess with housing development & habitat preservation...

  • thats right, people dont understand the cattle buisness and ranching

  • Not if the land is sold for habitat/wildlife conservation, instead of to 'KB Homes'. The narrator said that this was a difficult decision for a lot of ranchers. Thus a choice that some can make.

  • If they say cattle ranching is bad for the enviroment because plants can't grow, then not ranching would be even worse. As soon as someone stops ranching, land owners will seize up the land and slab asphalt and homes over it, killing off even more habitat for wild animals.
