The main difference I can see is that pepsi replaces flavor with sugar. Which can be good sometimes. ^_^

Given a choice, I'd go with Coke, but I'm okay with either.
That death at 3:58 reminds me of the glitch in Super Mario 64 where you mysteriously die if you hang from the edge of the castle next to the invisible wall and try climbing up from there.
From the looks of the cutoffness, I think Pepsi Lake was/is intended to have more ceilings. I'm guessing the level wasn't fully completed yet.
