Schwingkreis (VH 1982)

One of my very first attempts of making synthesized music!!
Made with YAMAHA PS-20 personal keyboard, at that time even a little bit modified by myself.
3D Stereo "added" in 1984!!
BTW, this is all made without any mixing console at that time!!!
If you think, it sounds a bit like KRAFTWERK???! You're absolutely right!!!
Made also with a real glockenspiel!
The only effect was the rotating (swirling!!) MONACOR-microphone around the loudspeaker of the YAMAHA-PS 20 Keyboard- so the Glockenspiel sounded with a chorus effect!!!!

P.S.: Das YAMAHA PS-20 klingt nach heutigen Maßstäben irgendwie unsäglich!!! Aber damals hatte ich eine Möglichkeit gefunden, den Sound nach meinem Gutdünken zu verändern. Ein MONACOR-Mikrofon wurde um den Lautsprecher des Keyboards "gewirbelt" wie ein Lasso, um einen Choruseffekt zu erreichen. Man hört in dieser Aufnahme auch das Windgeräusch ein wenig, das bei der Rotation des Mikros entstand.
Man kann sich das heute gar nicht mehr vorstellen, wie das Stück entstanden ist!!!

@KwazyTwang Thanx so much, my dear friend, but this is only a delayed 180 degrees phasis-audio-signal plus the normal mono-dry-audio-signal. If you play this here in mono, so the delayed (echo) signal dissappears.

Just noodled a little bit on a PS-20 keyboard. I really like that analogue sound. Especially the c64-like organs, the low strings and the piano.

Ja, es war mein erster Gedanke. Das ist klingt wie Kraftwerk. Aber dann wiederum doch nicht. Du hast was eigenständiges kreiert. Und das in 82? Da war ich ja noch nicht mal geboren. Gab es damals schon Computer? Ah, ich spinne ein bißchen rum. Das Stück gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut. Der Titel ist sehr inspirierend. Mit allen Störeffekten. Das Video ist klasse. Richtig klasse. Es gab damals schon Computer, aber unsereins benutzte damals noch die Hände zum Einspielen. Na ja, der Titel war der Zeit angemessen. Typische Namen, wie sie seinerzeit auch KRAFTWERK immer wieder benutzte, z.B. "Strom", Spule", "Wellenlänge" usw. Na, so ganz waren das damals nicht meine echten Anfänge der elektron. Musik. Die wirklich ersten Stücke enstanden schon 1975/76.

@Volker400 My In-laws have one. I never really learnt to play keyboard but I'm thinking of giving it a try. The low strings -> I meant playing the lower notes of the cello.
