@latviankid2 if you're coming out on the backhand, you can also take an extra stride so that you're in front of your goalie to make the forehand pass (if there's no pressure from the front of the net of course).

If you're a left hander coming around the net like that, should you make a backhand pass breakout or wait and get it on you're forehand?

@latviankid2 It would depend on the situation. As players get older, they should gain more confidence in their ability to make a solid backhand pass. If the play is not rushed, there's typically no problem with making a forehand pass to increase accuracy.
