I remember him. I remember watching Imola 1994. Even though i was only 4 years old i still remember clearly how he crashed and later being declared dead..

ffx909 you fool. Prost in 93 had a car that was over the top, while Senna had to handle with a car which suffered 80 hp compared with Renault. in 89 Prost scored more point, but we all know how it did happen. qualifying duel was 13:3. do you remember?

oh, didnt he lose to prost in 89 and 93, and mansell in 92? hardly damon hill, he only made his mark after he died, and piquet's success was before senna's titles, schumacher had to compete with hakkinen remember, and raikkonen in 2003 so, he did have people to compete with, think about it,

Please tell me thats a joke! You can't say how good a driver is, when you only see the figures on a letter! Senna had Mansell, Prost etc..... all very good race-drivers.

Schumacher is a good driver....no doubt....but when he drove the benetton/ferrari he always hat a very fast car. The only reason why he is seven times world-champion is that he didn't had a guy like mansell or prost! Here an example: Barichello let Schumi pass....Senna and Prost had always a "battle"!

I agree with ffx909. If Senna had driven till the end of his potential career, there'd be no contest because he'd been bet by MS in '94 and '95 champs.

Points/Race (old system 9-6-4-3-2-1): 1st Schumacher 4.89, 2nd Fangio 4.77, 3rd Ascari 3.88, 4th Prost 3.86, 5th Clark 3.75, 6th Stewart 3.60, 7th Senna 3.54, 8th Farina 3.39. Hamilton has 4.51 but his ratio will decrease as J Villeneuve's did.

F1 needed 50 years to beat Fangio and will need other 50 to beat MS.

Senna was VERY good, but he wasnt the best ever, the only reason everyone thinks this is because of one reason, he is dead. I have a huge amount of respect for Senna, he acheived so much, things that I myself would have been more than proud of. But im sorry, he so wasnt the best Formula 1 driver ever

Senna was probably the fastest driver ever in F1, and his commitment, speed, stats and presence spoke for themeselves. His belief in himself sometimes bordered on the insane, and there was no one more willing to win than Ayrton.
