they were done at Northwestern University... a school usually not known for SFX

I've watched all the films for this festival, and this is by far my favorite. Color as a concept is so simple, and so powerful when used as a metaphor as it is in this feature. It's a piece that makes you want to stare outside your window, to absorb the beauty sitting beyond it and give yourself the opportunity to appreciate life. Truly, a job well done.

@akneebreeated It's not only actors and supermodels. Scientists and Business Executives don't have enough time for their family. Teachers can't even tutor their own kids. Sucessfull graphic artists are unable to make the next masterpeice. We are being overmilked. There is nothing left for ourselves anymore!

@BenivolentWarlock Yes it is a sad fact that money is what drives not only this country but the entire world of human kind. Morals used to mean something. As for the spot light life of actors and supermodels I would say that is the job scope itself. In my opinion if these people did not want the fame and glamour they would choose a different proffesion.

@akneebreeated I guess it didn't came across as expected. I was thinking about actors not having a private life, supermodels no longer have self identity, workers are being exploited. They don't care about the milking cows. They only care for the money!

My personal interpretation would be:

Our capitalist society is sucking the lives out of people for everybody's amusement.

Everybody is capable of producing their own Imogen but the ones that are good at it are being made into donors. The result, the donors don't have Imogen left for themselves.

To FreshlyRoastedBeans: I agree with you on that. I do think it's that we take our eyes for granted but it could also be about how so many people are searching for happiness. Color is happiness and so many people have lost it and are searching for it in the wrong places and through the wrong ways.
