I got tired of enviro's showing pictures of cute cuddly bears, shedding caribou, (that are supposedly sick), and of Alaska's interior when being questioned by congress about ANWR's enviromental impact of drilling.

I spent 40 years in the oil industry and this is the most truthful film I have seen. Environmentalists have stopped drilling offshore on the east coast, the west coast and many remote areas. I have worked on the north slope and animal life there is more abundant than before we started drilling.Most people making statements about Anwar have never been there.

I agree that the US is often a good steward of the environment when it comes to drilling oil, and I would not be opposed to drilling in ANWR, but this video is misleading:
The environmental lobby is not that powerful. Oil companies have far more money.
Solar, wind, and geothermal are our best resources here at home. Al Gore's recent proposal is very difficult, but we can do it!! Doing what he proposed is the best move!
Protecting the environment is more important than most people think.

What special interests pd U 2 make this vid? U made the ridiculous statement that nuclear is not dangerous. Do ur research on nuclear power, dangers of repossessing, & the post storage of the most dangerous chemical known 2man. The amt of oil received from this site could'nt B seen 4 at least 10 yrs,even then only by $.05! Money 2 make this site should go 2 alternative energy. Ur facts on the capabilities of solar power is INCORRECT! Can U say peak oil? Or are u paid 2 dispute that too?? Shame!

All forms of energy are inherently dangerous because you're dealing with energy.
Spent nuclear fuel is not chemically dangerous, it's the particle decay. Also, nuclear decay has many benefits.
The most dangerous chemicals in the world would probably be a toss up between PCBs, Organochlorides, & Dioxins.
Solar is good but silicon is not efficient enough, currently.
And why accuse me of being" paid"? Because I have an opposing viewpoint? That is just silly.
