how did you make it work??

i have the same graphics intel gma 4500 mhd and 4gb ram but the game when i try to run it gives me an error texp70 about direct x or drivers which i have updated

yeh it dosent run i get the texp70 error its something to do with a patch if anyone has a fix that would be awesome

my spez are 3GB ram

intel celeron CPU 2.20GHz processor

rockstar are meant to be coming up with a patch to fix it

@Roderik46 Basically, Rockstar screwed everyone over who have Intel graphics Cards, (Great job Rockstar, thats 99.9% of Dell users >_>), Try Googling "GTA IV TEXP70 Gma 4500MHD fix", I have the same graphics card as you, and I'm still looking for a fix :( Can you run the game Unpatched (Version 1.0.0.0) without the error? the same as me?

@Roderik46 You need to reinstall. An update for GTA (Either 1.0.07 or 1.0.02, I forgot which) gives you that error if you aren't running an ATI or Nvidia card. Messed up, huh?

It's because ATI and Nvidia made a deal with Rockstar. The deal was to make sure that you couldn't play any R* games on Intel, SiS or other non ATI/Nvidia chips.

intel hd graphics

3gb ddr3 1333mhz ram

since the intel hd graphics takes from the ram, will adding extra ram get more fps?

@Roderik46 Run the game from program files dude..... Go to your hard drive find grand theft auto and look for launch GTA4 that will fix the error

dose a intel(R) core(TM) i3 cpu at 3.6ghz windows 7 home premium direct x11+,4 gb ddr3 ram,500 gb hdd,intel gma 4 mxhd,resolutions by 1366x768 64bit 60hz worked fine first time i played gta 4.-ive maxed the properties on intel and overrided them so the sims 3 ambitions look like nvidia geforce 8400 gs now. 2010 TOSHIBA a505 satellite???
