It was 20 years ago as of this thursday already. She has missed out on a whole 2 decades/a generations time/almost twice as many years of her life that she should have had, because of a douchebag. She would have probably had a sucessful career, a husband and children, and who knows what else. Tis a shame. RIP

I think rebeccas family should appreciate that so many people still care,and recognize how special she really was.I wish I could go there to pay my respects in person.

what's more sad is that she died 10 days after my birthday. For i was born on july 8, 1989. rest in peace beautiful angel.

now it has been 22 years since she died a year more than she did not have the chance to live. 21 years is not enough time to live. this was a very senseless murder, why would this man want to kill her? she never did anything to him. RIP Rebecca

Yes, thanks, you are correct. She was an incredible, strong, talented young woman. And to go to Hollywood and live alone and make it on her own, that says a lot. Regardless of whether or not there was a laugh or two on the video, her story has haunted me since it happened and being at her grave was an almost spiritual experience for me. - Todd
