@Mr00Death - I am so very sorry about the loss of your beloved dog. I have been through it too many times myself and it never gets easier losing your best friend. I got very ill when my 3 year old developed spinal disease and had to be put down. I just wanted to tell you that the lead guitarist, Jerry Cantrell, wrote this song for the lead singer of AIC, Layne Staley, who passed away circa. April 5, 2002 from an overdose. He struggled for many years with the disease and he is now at peace.

I can almost think that this song was written about my dog he passed away last year in august... Though I know it was really written about their leads guitarist.
