She asked me so nicely
If I would stop cheating at cards
But when someone tries to change me
I just put up my guard

But protruding from another dimension
In the middle of the room
The screaming pig
begins his scream
that's all folks
get your clothes on

you're leaving now
hurry up he roared
it time to go nowhere
this party is over

I put my cards face down and sighed
Such an untimely end
between what I had and what was up my sleeve
I could have beaten anything

And I was just about to make my move
Just about to find my groove
I had barely come into my prime
and was about to score big time
I'd come upon a brand new scene
And had plans to become a decent human being

Well we all fall down so hard
to the pavement below
All tossed out into the cold and dark
When the party is over.

The planarian worm, he's got no eyes
But he can feel it in his soul
I could feel something, once upon a time
Don't let your love grow cold

How long?
Children are growing old.
All Gone
The wind is blowing -- cold
So cold

I'm cold

Please please. What's that sound?
There's a new dance going around
Everybody gonna party tonight
C'mon baby don't be cold as ice.

  • Wow, this is a amazing tune! I havn´t been listening to this one before. I love that theatrical approach to the music. It creates a lot of pictures in my head. Superb performance, Karl. Great keyboard!!!!

  • @MrsCatification Thanks Viveca. A very uplifting comment -much appreciated. and I'm really glad you enjoyed this. All the best to you my friend, Karl

  • karl, you will no doubt be a huge hit at the coffee tree with this live :)

  • @cluelocker Hey Larry, thanks. It was very cool to see that gathering of songwriters / performers. Seems like everyone there was very laid-back and friendly. Some really fine music -and you're a terrific performer. I need to bring my wife next time; she'd love it. I'm not sure Part's Over is a good choice for a live performance – needs too many dryers and refrigerators :-) but I'll think of something. All the best, my friend Karl.

  • Your songs and music are unique and wonderful! Love the video production, too!

  • @paxukulele Hey John, Thanks for the kind words. I really love your music also. All the best best from the US to Japan. - Karl

  • Great, so special! Listening to this I regret that on MTV you never see music like this,

only prototypes. You are so individual, and your music makes people thinking...

    lov it

  • Wonderful music, here in your channel, I sub. :-D

    bravo

  • I know a young songwriter from Oswego, NY. He's a very bright and passionate man. He once asked another musician a question that stuck with me: "Dude, why aren't you famous?" Karl, I'm asking. In a world that truly valued creativity and originality, you would be playing at Albert Hall.

  • aha....actual talent

  • LOL...dig it!

  • I don't know where to begin...first...I think I'd better sit back and digest what I just saw... this was so creative...and such an interesting video... I don't think I could ever do it justice in describing it. FANTASTIC.. . AWESOME... INCREDIBLE... all the accolades apply here...

The green screen work was outstanding... thinking all of this up...writing...singing...producing...and the keyboard playing....leaves me speechless. Let's just say... It just couldn't get any better!
