Like THE FLIRT, this is (unfortunately) an abridged version of BY THE SAD SEA WAVES found on an old video cassette. Although I didn't remove any footage from this film I did take out a whole minute and a half by just shortening the titles and intertitles. I then re-edited the music to fit the shorter length. Watch and rate our Hero five stars!!

Harold Lloyd in a bathing suit (faint). Funny how men's suits had tops then, I guess people were just a lot more modest. This one has a very high bou bou content (i. e., Harold's innate adorableness),due to our view of his snug muscles and tightly packed little acrobat's body. Plus he was just so young, a mere boy.
(Harold + Bebe = bou bou!)

Leonard on The Big Bang Theory reminds me of Harold Lloyd. Both are owlish and geeky (and very funny).

I keep going back to this one. He was only in his mid-20s then and in very good shape. Muscular little dude.

I do wish they would release all the earlier ones from the 1900s. They are hilarious.

This copy of this film was made for home projection. Pathe, the distributor, started making home projectors (Baby Pathes) in 1922. So this is a copy from a store bought movie. The actual shoot year for the film itself is 1917.
