I guarantee the label has nothing to do with their musical direction. I've talked to many people in bands about how labels work. Even the one's that have a reputation for influencing their sound won't touch it if the band is making them money. Bands sound just changes over time. I still like this new stuff.

People judge easily. This album was made with the concept of a whole decade that AILD has been on music. They never went into the studio with the idea that this will be something "special". They're just celebrating ten years of metal under their belt. That's it
