You are very lucky to have seen a mountain lion! They are extremely reclusive and very shy around humans...thus, the very small amount of youtube vids with wild mountain lions. Congrats on seeing one!

damn i've seen two over a 5yr. period!!! I need a camera:( Here in Tahoe we have Lynx like cougars that are cougars, but also are a cousin of the Lynx! I got my sighting mid-day after a 4ft. blizzard i think he came down of the mountain becuase of the snow? right off of SR431 Mt. Rose Highway

@GREEVES246 A mountain lion came into my Camp at South Rim Grand Canyon AZ, it chirped and squeaked at me. They are common here.

It was actually on the East Rim Drive, we had been staying on the South Rim and were heading to Page. Going to Yellowstone in August hoping to see a wolf!
