I love Romana one and as fond as I am of Martha Jones and I liked the Rose episode they don't come near the sparks of the Doctor and Romana One and even Time Lady in distress Romana Two. Sarah Jane was cool-- Sarah Jane was and is my favorite companion == although show wise it was hinted that the Doctor had a thing for Jo Grant.

I just stumbled upon this on a miserable saturday morning, having recieved shell-shock news the day before. Now, I am all alone, in a bottle of French brandy. But, this is cheering me up a bit, thanks.

the doctor/donna age reminded me of this just because they were constantly telling each other off. Romana is definitely on the the best companions, both one and two.
